bali round 2
Bali was a breath of fresh air. I went for the first time last summer, and I fell in love, dreaming of when I would get to go back someday. Never in a million years did I think I would be back so soon, but if you know me, you know I live by two rules and they are:
Say yes to spray tans
Say yes to cheap flights
So when we got an alert for a cheap flight to Bali, Tristen and I gathered up our best friends from high school and made it happen.
9 months later and we were BACK BABY!!! And I couldn’t believe my eyes!! So much had changed! In so many ways it seemed like Bali had transformed into one big photo op destination. All of our favorite places from last summer had completely changed to become more “instagrammable” which, isn’t necessarily a bad thing, if you have the right mindset
And we did.
When I say this trip was a breath of fresh air, it really was. I hardly took my camera out. In fact, I left it at our air bnb for three days straight. (GASPS HEARD FROM INFLUENCERS ROUND THE WORLD) When I travel, I am always behind a lens. I'm so caught up in capturing every moment, so I don't miss a thing, but feel like sometimes, I end up missing more that way. This time was different. I think it had to do with the group we were with, but also maybe because it was my second time in Bali, so I wasn’t obsessing over capturing everything. I was just taking it all in. I've also been traveling for 5 months non stop and I am so over taking pictures LOLLLL
Luckily, I brought my handy dandy disposables with me everywhere I went, so I still snapped some good moments on film.
You know how I feel about these babies, and I love that you love them as much as I do.
So here is the bali disposable diary!! love you all.
