WESLIE.BRONSON.ZURI.REMI.OZZY.

you meet certain people in life, that are just good. good people.

you file these good people into your "good people" folder naturally.

my folder includes the likes of,

- randy, the homeless man who sits outside of temple square and always tells me to have a good day

- sahalie donaldson, one of my best friends who always hypes up a good snapchat selfie

- mrs jones, my seventh grade English teacher who always sat me next to my crush no matter how often the seating chart changed

and most recently, Weslie and Bronson Christensen.

Weslie and I are truly kindred spirits. We both love Lil Wayne, and hate small talk. I've known this for awhile, since I grew up reading her blog. She's about ten years older than me, but I've always had a sneaky feeling we were meant to be more than just internet friends.

Last month I was in California filming a wedding, but we drove down a couple days early to shoot some videos, including a video for Wes and her family. She extended the invitation to crash at their place if we needed to. And we needed to! But that's so far outside of my comfort zone, and I hate feeling like a burden. So I spent the day looking at air bnb's never once considering her offer, until it was the eleventh hour, and we were desperate for a place to sleep. I asked her if she was SURE it was okay, and she insisted that we stay the night.

our crew showed up late at night, and was welcomed with hugs, chocolate cake (I TOLD YOU THEY WERE THE DOPEST) and a visit from a sleepy Zuri, their 8 year old daughter who is also the dopest, paired with the bone structure of a tiny greek goddess. (seriously. watch the video. seeing her will make you go back through your "awkward stage" photo albums and curse the day you were ever born)

we sat on their couch and just talked, and talked and talked and talked.

Bronson is a wizard in everything he does. and he does it all..He gave us business advice, how to deal with haters, how to take things to the next level. Wes, in the same way taught us how to not care about what other people think and just to do what feels good, what makes us happy.  I felt like I was in on something too good to be true, just listening to them. Like I was in on something, that no one else was apart of. And even through all of the advice, and everything I learned from them in our late night conversations, my favorite thing about them is how they just built us up. They made me feel like a BOSS. And that is the KEY to being one of those "good people" we talked about.

Its all about how you make other people feel, right?!

they didn't treat us as a burden, or like they were 'above' us in anyway. Which, by the way, I think is super easy to do when theres a huge age difference like that. They asked us thousands of questions, laughed at our stories, and gave us advice when it was wanted. They made us feel like friends. also, the chocolate cake part. (I'm easy to please.)

we ended up hanging out with them all weekend, and the love I thought I had for this couple TRIPLED when I met their kids!! Truly some of the greatest people I know, and I can't wait to introduce them to you guys.

Ozzy is my little baby boyfriend who kisses me and calls me "windy", Little rems and her squeaky voice, Zuri and her big bright eyes, Bronson, who I connect with on another level due to our mutual appreciation for comme de garçon and good music, and then theres Weslie, with a smile that almost knocks you over. My favorite thing about her is how happy she is. it literally shines through her face. and you can really tell in the video, So HERE YOU GO!

I. love. them. all of them. and so will you!!
